Windows 10에서 응용 프로그램 격리 기능을 활성화 또는 비활성화하는 방법

Windows 인쇄 드라이버 격리(Windows Printing Driver Isolation) 기능 은 인쇄 스풀러 프로세스에서 격리된 드라이버를 제거하고 샌드박스에 로드합니다. 격리된 드라이버에 충돌이 발생해도 인쇄 스풀러 프로세스는 영향을 받지 않습니다.

응용 프로그램 격리(Application Isolation) 는 인쇄 드라이버가 충돌하는 경우 응용 프로그램이 충돌하지 않도록 응용 프로그램을 인쇄 드라이버에서 격리하여 응용 프로그램을 보다 안정적으로 만드는 Windows 10/8 의 인쇄 기능입니다 . 이 기능은 기존 Windows 기능( SplWoW64 )을 확장하여 (SplWoW64)Windows Server 및 Windows 10/8 의 모든 인쇄 시나리오를 포괄합니다 .

프린터 드라이버에 전체 기능이 없으면 설정을 변경하여 응용 프로그램 격리를 비활성화할 수 있습니다.

이렇게 하려면 그룹 정책 편집기(Group Policy Editor) 를 열고 다음 설정으로 이동합니다.

Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Printers/Isolate print drivers from applications

응용 프로그램에서 인쇄 드라이버 분리(Isolate print drivers from applications) 를 두 번 클릭  한 다음 사용(Enabled) 을 클릭 하고 Apply/OKWindows 8 에서 응용 프로그램 격리(Application Isolation) 를 비활성화 합니다.

This policy determines if print driver components are isolated from applications instead of normally loading them into applications. Isolating print drivers greatly reduces the risk of a print driver failure causing an application crash. Not all applications support driver isolation. By default, Microsoft Excel 2007, Excel 2010, Word 2007, Word 2010 and certain other applications are configured to support it. Other applications may also be capable of isolating print drivers, depending on whether they are configured for it.

이 정책 설정을 사용하거나 구성하지 않으면 드라이버 격리를 지원하도록 구성된 응용 프로그램이 격리됩니다. 이 정책 설정을 사용하지 않으면 연결된 모든 응용 프로그램 프로세스 내에서 인쇄 드라이버가 로드됩니다.

이 정책은 Windows 10 , Windows 8, Windows Server 2012 이상에서 지원됩니다.
